Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Bluetooth Low Energy, or BLE, is an variant of Bluetooth technology designed for short-range wireless communication. BLE is specifically developed for devices that transmit relatively small amounts of data while requiring minimal power consumption. The technology operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and is widely used in sensors, IoT devices, wearables, smart home systems and industrial applications. Its low energy requirements allow battery-powered devices to operate for extended periods, depending on the application. BLE enables direct communication between compatible devices and is particularly suitable for applications where compact hardware and reliable wireless data transmission are important.
