Dedicated Internet Access (DIA)

Dedicated Internet Access, or DIA, is a business internet connection that provides an organisation with exclusively allocated bandwidth. Unlike many conventional broadband services, the available capacity is not shared with other customers. DIA connections typically provide symmetrical download and upload speeds and are often supported by defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This makes them particularly suitable for organisations with demanding requirements for availability, performance and stable network connectivity. Typical use cases include cloud applications, VoIP, video conferencing, VPN connections and business-critical IT services. Depending on the provider, additional features can include static IP addresses, guaranteed availability and defined technical response or repair times.
