Multi Cloud

Multi-Cloud refers to an IT strategy in which organisations use cloud services from at least two different cloud providers. This can involve combining computing, storage, database, application or networking services from different providers. Organisations can select suitable cloud services for individual workloads while reducing dependency on a single provider. A Multi-Cloud environment can include public cloud services from several providers and connect them with existing IT infrastructures. However, managing multiple platforms increases requirements for network management, identity and access management, monitoring, data security and cost control. Automation and management solutions can help centrally manage resources across different cloud platforms. Multi-Cloud strategies are particularly relevant for distributed and scalable enterprise applications.
